I HATE SMALL TOWN POLITICS

I have decided that I am entirely too sensitive for politics. I can't stand the things people say about others. I can't stand how our signs dissappear because of people that dislike us. It hurts my feelings and I can't help it. It helps me realize that although we have our own opinions and morals; All people who run for any office have a family and friends that love them. Sure I may not agree with what they do and many times they are on a larger scale than the politics around here but I will watch what I say about people from now on because if it hurts me I am sure there are other women out there that are easily hurt too. Now don't get me wrong, I am going to vote for MY morals and opinions but I will not be part of the ugly things that are spread about candidates, no matter how I feel.

Have a happy day. this has made me feel a little better just being able to vent.

Laundry Fairy

OK, so are there any other mothers out there that can not keep up with the laundry? Now, I know that there are five people that live here but two of them are TINY. hahahaha. I think that we need to come up with some sort of plan for disposable clothing. ha! Or the clothing fairy! I am not sure about any of you but as much as I love my family I really hate hanging clothes! =0)

Misc...

I am so sad that I will be missing out tonight. I can't beleive that we are singing with Historical First Baptist and I don't get to sing. I am so sad! I love our class but can't help but wish I were singing tonight.

Oh well.

By the way, it has been a little over a week and Garrett has been wearing "Big Boy Undies" everyday! We have had a few accidents but all in all he has done very well!

Greg's campaign is going very well. We have been out every weekend passing out pamphlets and signs. We have had a good response so we will see...

Tired

So with the Olympics being on so late, and Ryan still getting up in the middle of the night I am sooooo tired! I slept in the floor last night just so I could get some sleep. Ryan refused to go back to sleep and as soon as I put him in his swing he was out.....so I slept beside him in the floor. HA! I thank God Daily for the swing. I hope everyone else is sleeping well. Get some for me! =0)

Monumental moment!

He went POO in the potty! Of course, it took lots of pleading but he is very proud of himself this mornin. He is such a big boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday, August 7

On the roll

Ryan rolled over today and then would not do it again. He is so sweet. Katie and Garrett are also very fond of him. =0)

Proud of him

So this is my first time on here...but I thought I would start by saying how proud of my husband I am. When we met I knew that he would stand up for what he believes in but now that he is running for Alderman just so he can stand up for the Millington homeowners, I am so proud.

He is a good father, though very stern.. I have seen him scold one and love them in the next breath. I am so glad that God saw fit to place us together. It is nice to know someone knows what they are doing.
